Xbox 360 or PS3?

PS3, definitely.

I think the PS3 is the best system out of any the three game systems because of

A) Free online, which is also improving quite a bit

B) Is somewhat cheaper than the Xbox 360

You might not use these accessories, so that’s why I say the PS3 is “somewhat cheaper”

Also why I said you have to get an Elite to compare it to the PS3 is because the elite is the only 360 console that has HDMI, which basically means it’s the only package that can get you true High-Def.

C) Has great exclusives coming out and all of these are different variety:

Heavenly Sword, Lair, Eight Days, Warhawk, Metal Gear Solid 4, Metal Gear Online, Killzone 2, Grand Turismo 5, Little Big Planet, Getaway 3, Driver 5, God of War III, Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy Versus XIII, Jax and Daxter: Lost Frontier, Motorstorm, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, Resistance: Fall of Man, SOCOM: Confrontation, Tekken 6, Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, and White Knight Story. That’s all the games I can think of over 5 minutes.

Ok, now onto the boring stuff…

D) The PS3 is superior due to cell technology. This allows the PS3 to produce complex graphics far superior to any other console. The PS3 has a little over 2tfps and the Xbox 360 has 1. This basically means how well the system can do generating backgrounds like rain, clouds, etc. It also has to do with the amount of realism in graphical explosions and destruction scenes. The down side is however that it will be a while until game producers can max its potential because the cell processor is somewhat new in technology. That’s why games on the Xbox 360 look somewhat better right now. However, in about a year or two the PS3 will have better graphics. This is somewhat good too because then Sony wont have to make another console as soon because the PS3 has room to grow with technology, but then again nobody knows what technology can do in 5 years.

E) PS3 will probably be the better quality as in life span. Many Xbox 360s are already having hardware problems (25%-33% Xbox 360 have 3 red rings of death) when there has only been a reported 1% failure chance with the PS3. PS3 also has an emergency shut down feature, so if you PS3 overheats it will automatically shutdown until it is out of a dangerous temperature.

F) The PS3 as Blu-Ray. Blu-ray is a new type of video disc that allows movies and games to be more Hi-Def. The Blu-ray disc can hold up to 50gb allowing game developers to develop a longer game, better graphics, etc. The Xbox 360 only uses its game on classic DVD discs, which can only hold around 8 or 10gb depending on what type of DVD.

Finally! We’re done with technology and hardware talk, but as you can see this shows how well the PS3 is designed.

Final Conclusion: Xbox 360 is not a bad system, but the extra 100 bucks are worth buying the PS3.

The Red ring of death occurs when dumasses overheat their Xbox by cluttering it with DVD's and game cases and blame it on Microsoft. All my friends keep their systems well veltillated and they NEVER broke down. Same with mine.

Xbox Live has Great... no... THE BEST online service. Everyone criticises that you need to pay 40 dollars a year (big whupp) But tell me... how do you expec tthe comanies to pay for updates and server breakdowns without some money? Why do you think the PS2, PS3, and Wii online sucks so much? It's like taxes. You can either have your money or you can have the fire department. Think of it like that. If you want quality service you might need to pay a small fee.

And a lot more. You won't need all those gai blueray features they have on there to try to ransom off the PS3. Plus they went down in price recently. PS3 fanboys will try to make it look like the 360 costs more by adding a bunch of UNNESSESARY features and say it costs more. Just cause the PS3 has a bluray DOESN'T mean you NEED it. they will do that with wireless adaptors, HD Drives, Etc. It's all an illusion. You choose. A 350 dollar 360 with great games or a 500 dollar PS3 with NO GAMES AT ALL

Did you know that many major game comaines such as Capcom I think it is said they will NOT be making games for the PS3 because the system core is too hard and expensive to program for and would result in less of a profit than if they went with the 360?

You will get great exclusive titles for 360 and will be able to play a lot of cross platform games in the future. (Shadowrun can play it like that now) PS3 steals iseas like the Sixaxis's motion sensor capabilities and it doesn't even work because it was thrown together in a month. Why do you think almost everyone has a 360 and almost no one has a PS3? You choose. you will regret a PS3

I think you should get the Xbox 360, because to my opinion I just think is a lot better. Especially if you like playing multilayer. Xbox live is so much better than the free online games of the PS3. The xbox 360 also has better games now and the only thing right now the the ps3 offers is blueray and you should wait until a lot of people are using blue ray. Blue ray is new and not that many movie come with blue ray. But personally the only reason that i get the xbox 360 is because halo 3 is coming out in about a month.

no matter what anyone says, the PS3 is better. It is cheaper also. 360 is 480 and ps3 is 500, but once u add an hd drive for the 360 and wifi for it, the prive shoots to well over 700 dollars, u also have to pay for online play after that every month. Anyways, when was the last time u heard of a ps3 breaking down, unlike the "red ring of death". Only thing 360 has is halo but ps3 has Ratchet and clank, resistance, and soon killzone 2.

I think PS3, cuz you can go to the internet, add your music and videos and save it to the PS3 hardrive, have each profile (like create new accounts so that your syblings can't go to your account and goof around), and more.

if you have a memory stick and you want to put it in the PS3, you can, but you need to purchase the 60 gig or 80 gig which costs like 400-600 dollars
