Do You think that it is about time to BOYCOTT ALL GOODS AND PRODUCTS FROM CHINA?

Because of all the problems, poisons, lead content, etc. still being reported in or on goods from China, what else can we do? Our entire Government appears not to be able to protect our food, clothing, toys, etc. Does anyone have a solution?

The solution is to shop only at retailers that sell U.S. made products... but.. the "slide" has now gone too far, and too many manufacturers already rely on the low cost crap that comes from China...

And we all have said that we want cheap items, so we take the risks, and hope that low quality products from China won't affect us.

The issue with the pet foods, the lead paints, and other problems won't go away.... since they have had little negative impact on the average person...

Wait till we start importing, buying and using their "low cost" cars... That's when you'll see people die.. that may then make an impact on Americans...

Lead paint on our innocent children's toys. Poisoning our beloved animals. Unsafe tires. The list is endless. I will not knowingly purchase anything edible or important use wise from China, so, I guess I am doing my own boycott.

I think it's ridiculous in the 1st place for Americans to place trust in a COMMUNIST POLICE GOVERNMENT to make products for our most valued precious and defenseless citizens-- our children!

What did people expect? We want the most crap for the least amount of money. Well there you have it.

Damn straight we should start boycotting. Boycotting for as long as it takes, damn their economy and our trade treaties or whatever red tape contracts have us outsourcing in the 1st place. These are our childrens lives and health. And stupid US, most people don't even have adequate health care coverage to battle the onslaught of all these poisons.

How would you even know that something is made in China? Much of the labeling refers to the point of distribution or assembling.

The government is not interested in upsetting the corporate entities that insist on cheaper labor abroad and therefore higher profits.

No and do you really think by asking this question on Y/A that you will get all the people who don't live in China to boycott all goods imported from there?

Our government set this into motion.

Yes we should boycott all Chinese imports.

I would add if you have children please have them tested for lead poisoning.

It's a simple blood test. I have read and seen reports on CNN where doctors have said that brain damage can occur from only a months exposure to the lead paint contaminated toys.

    Please protect your children.

Boycott chinese products and listen to the consumers screech because they can't afford every new gadget that comes on the market. They would have to adopt realistic consumption habits. See if you can get all our union workers to sweat for a few bowls of rice a day. Be prepared to pay $10,000 for than computer you're using and $2,000 for your iPod.

What a BRILLIANT idea, but the problem is to many things come from there and at a cheaper price then anywhere else in the world. But i do agree with you the people need to make a STAND FOR WHATS RIGHT.......

Yes. Unfortunately, there is very little left to buy in the US that isn't made in China.
