We'll be in Vancouver for a week and I'm hoping to find a cool fabric/craft store, any suggestions, and directions, at least to the area, are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry, can't help with fabric stores. I know they're out there but I don't frequent them. There are Fannies Fabric stores, I think, and of course the Bay and stores like that have fabric departments.
There are some excellent craft stores if you're interested in paper crafts, stamping, scrapbooking, beading, etc.
