Doctor put staples in head - need to apply neosporin?

Or any kind of extra supplement aside from my cefalexin oral antibiotic? Thanks you guys. BTW: 9 staples in a 2" laceration and I'm taking 500 mg 4x a day of cefalexin.

Dry dressing ONLY...NO neosporin necessary. The antibiotic should be enough to inhibit infection. Needs air to heal! If it does show signs of infection -ie: pain, redness, swelling, feels hot-- go see your Dr. Wow... what did you do to get a laceration like that on your head????
