Would you pay a monthly fee for an online service where you can interact with other moms if you have concerns?

if you could log in and enter the sex of your baby how old your baby is and get into a section where moms with a similar sex baby in the same age group coudl talk to you about similar issues, or health problems. Woudl you pay maybe a $20 a month membership fee? instead of draging your kid to a pediatrician's office, with bunch of other kids, to get useless advice from a doctor who doesn't knwo anything.

I wouldn't pay money for something that is already free on other sites. Also, although many other mother's offer experience and knowledge from that experience I would never replace my pediatrician with that. I mean, I have done well using both side by side.

No. I would not pay for that. There are plenty of free sites like this already. Also, if you think your pediatrician does not know anything, you should consider changing doctors. We love ours and I have a lot of confidence in her advice.

I don't think I'd pay for the service. In the Dayton OH newspaper, I've seen ads for just such a service...free. Check the Dayton Daily News website. It might be called "askamom.com" or something like that. Let me know if you can't find it, and I'll track it down for you.

    *no I wouldn't

*I'd rather read a book with the info I was looking for

*a bunch of women with a bunch of kids still will need a doctor now and again. I am sorry your doctor doesn't knwo anything; my doctors were awesome

I agree with the other Moms.

And I wouldn't take ONLY the advice of other Moms as opposed to my gut feeling and a doctor. Networking with other moms is great though.
