I am asuming your talking about the Jackson Racing Supercharger and yes 6-7lbs with a FMU will be fine, the tranny will take it but not sure for how long it be better to get an SOHC Y8/EX 5-speed tranny to take full advatange of the boost

Sometimes auto trannies are actually better for crap liek this because auto trannies almost always have a trans cooler and much more tranny oil but and this is a big one, auto transmissions are severely more difficult and expensive to repair then manual transmissions. If I were you I would worry more about the cost of actually adding a supercharger then the problems you would have with it, You are going to spend at the very least 1300 just on the hardware alone and if you do it yourself there is a extremely small margin of error not to mention a very long list of other mods that need to be done to make a supercharger or turbocharger effective such as ECM programming and sometimes the inefitable swap to MAP as opposed to MAF.

yes. you're putting more stress onto your engine then what it is meant to take and or build for. Although engine can be push to their limits and be fine. It really depends, since many factors can contribute to it also. Putting it on a supercharger on a automatic isn't a good idea if your thinking about tuning it up. If you want more power for your truck to hall materials around then yea its a great idea.

Yes you can and can even turbocharge it. You will put more strain on the tranny though from doing hard launches so be careful.

It's a "Honda", 2.0 liters is a bottle of soda, not an engine.
