26 Weeks and feel like ****!!!?
I am tired all of the time, have been havin on and off sickness and diarhoea and headaches! Blood pressure totally normal, urine, iron etc etc all normal! I'm so stressed at work also i'm not due to leave until 3rd of November but i'm think about leaving earlier. But this would mean my maternity pay will run out much quicker. Any advice for me?! Really not sure what to do?

It's ok, to feel rubbish at this time of pregnancy is perfectly normal and in all openness, I was exactly the same. The hormones running riot in your body, the baby taking all your energy in growing and developing....it all adds up, sweetie!
There's nothing unusual about you at all, and what you're experiencing is something many of us go through when pregnant.
The midwife ordered me to rest, and referred me to my GP to give me a medical certificate to take time off work to get that rest.
A couple of weeks off (which is great if, like me, you receive paid sick leave) and I was fine.
I got lots of rest, and lots and time for me in there to recoup.
Visit your GP (if you're in the the UK that is) and find out about taking time off. You can also take time off annual leave when pregnant if you have any, so if you don't want to take time off sick for whatever reason, book yourself some time off to catch up with yourself.
You'll seriously be thankful you did-my partner more or less ordered me to as I was seriously run down and getting sick, and when I took a couple of weeks out I felt waaaaay better.
Just think, you're more than halfway there now, and in somewhere between 12 and 16 weeks time, you'll be holding your baby. Hang in there, and try to keep as active and positive as possible, as well as remember to take time for yourself. Book time off work and relax. Spend time with family and friends, get your nails done, go swimming, or even just lounge about in your pyjamas for a couple of days doing nothing-anything that makes you feel more at ease.
And above all remember-you're doing fine! Be proud of the fact that you have a beautiful thing going on inside of you, that you'll physically be able to hold and love.

oh hun I'm 29+ weeks and i also feel extremely poorly, difference is though I'm already a full time mum so i cant take an early maternity leave. After chatting to my midwife several weeks ago we came to the conclusion that i had passed the point of feeling well again and that i would have to accept this was what the entire pregnancy would be like :(
i say take an earlier maternity leave, there is no harm and you deserve to enjoy some of this pregnancy right?
There is now evidence that women can get post natal depression even before delivery, dont risk this, pull the leave date forward and work towards that instead of dreading the next 10 weeks. maternity pay is just a bonus and if you can save the money you get paid until your first choice maternity leave date, that way you wont be as concerned.
good luck hun, hope you feel better soon, just look forward to meeting your new gorgeous baby soon xxxx

Try to speak with your employer and see if they can give you something less strenuous for you to do. Try to eat foods that won't make you sick and talk with the doctor about meds you can take for the headaches. Try to rest as much as possible and if you have short breaks at work, try to eat a snack and then possibly take a short nap. Naps throughout the day will help with the tiredness and may even help with the headaches. If your body seems overwhelmed then it's more than likely that you'll have headaches which are stress related. You don't have that much longer to go so try to take it as easy as possible. You probably should try to stick it out until it's time for your leave. You want to save all of the time you possibly can to be with your baby!!!

Sounds like you are having a time of it. The stress at work isn't helping your health any. Maybe you could just take a week off to recoop and rest. Or start working half days if that's possible. That way you aren't losing all your pay. Sorry you are having such a hard time. Work would be so much better if there were no people there. :D

just talk to ur DR about how work is stressing u out. This is not good for the baby. U need time off to relax and enjoy the pregnancy.
