microwave smells like a burned down house?
A week ago my teen daughter accidentally WAY overcooked one of those easy mac macaroni meals, the one where it comes in a plastic bowl and you microwave it. She cleaned out the microwave afterwards and sprayed room deodorizer everywhere, but now its a week later and the kitchen still has that burned smell to it. What can I do?

Put a piece of bread in the oven and heat for 5- 10 seconds (depending on how powerful your oven is) or so. Let it sit in the oven for about ten minutes. This will absorb the odor. Wipe the microwave with fresh lemon juice and a bit of baking soda. Wipe your kitchen down with the same mixture, rinse and open the windows for a while.

U need to use vinegarn and water to clean the microwave out. then wipe downt the cabinets and floor with bleach water or pine sol as that will take care of the smell after the microwave is cleaned out...

Sometimes a squeezed lemon or lemon juice in a pyrex cup turned on for 2 or 3 minutes will help also.
