What format are commercial DVDs in?
I have some movies that I've downloaded. They are in a variety of extentions like AVI, FOV, IFO, MP4, etc. I have conversion software (although if there are other programs you recommend, I'd love to hear about them) and need to know what format to transfer the files into so that I can burn them onto a dvd-r and play them on my TV. I tried Mpeg, but that didn't work- also it only took like one minute to burn, which I knew was too fast to be the right thing- and yep, my dvd player didn't recognize it!
Zhao: I've downloaded the program, and it does not appear to have VOB as an output at all- I am unable to burn a DVD (that goes in a DVD player) using this program. Please explain further! Thanks.
