I wonder what your life would be like if you appreciated events like this for what they really are.

I DID watch the lunar eclipse last night. But I missed the awesome sky that you say was given to us. It must have been a San Diego thing, since the sky around MY lunar eclipse was the regular one that we see every night here. Or maybe without a distraction of the moon, you were FINALLY able to see along what was there all the time, naturally formed!

Nope, I was sleeping.
While I do like lunar eclipses, I see the awesome sky every day. I don't need a lunar eclipse to remind me that it is awesome.

I'm here in Pasadena and our local stations told us the eclipse would start shortly after midnite. I tried as hard as I could to see it, but kept falling asleep. I woke several times during the night and the sky looked unusually dark. They showed films of it this morning, but it's never like the real thing. I'm glad you got to see it and also glad that someone else feels the way I do about God's gifts to us. I wake every morning and thank God for the skies and the beautiful birds He made. God bless you and have a blessed day.

We woke up at 2 AM to watch it. We have 2 children age 14 and 8 and when we put them to bed last night we gave them the option of getting up to watch it. They both said yes. It was nice to have everyone in the family on the back patio watching this wonderful God created universe. I also got to give the kids a small science lesson.

oh, i could not sleep last night. I kept getting up to go outside. Finally i stayed outside and slept in a chair under the moonlight. It was rejuvinating and calming all at the same time.
Tonight is the continuation of the full moon!!!! I am so excited.

You do know that when an opaque object A passes between object B and a source of light, object B will no longer receive light from the source?

eclipses are caused by the earth moving between the sun and moon, not the creator. you sound like you are living in the truman show.

Funny. If the Church had had its way, the Sun would revolve around the Earth.

No, nobody did, since there's no such sky, since your god doesn't exist any more than any other gods.
I can't decide if you're a troll.
