It is apparently your assumption that all Christians are Republicans and that all Christians in Idaho voted for Senator Craig.
That said you'll notice that the Republicans are dumping him lke a pile of poo poo. That is because they believe they can keep the seat without him.

As a Christian, I vote for the person who's convictions, desires and goals for this country are close to mine. I don't look at the party they belong too. Its a misconception to think all Christians are republicans because when polled, 83% of Americans said they were Christian. Well, either a group of them lied, or, we are spread among the three parties or are not party people, so to speak.
I am a conservative Democrat and if you look at the party, it left most of the people back in the 70's. Its kind of poetic but you hear them talk about making business pay their share and all that, Unions, big business and welfare along with the environmental groups are the ones supporting the party so, do you really thing big business will feel the pinch??? If they do, they will quickly outsource to India or Pakistan and shut down their factories here and put people out of work.
You always have to look for someone who is willing to work the middle of the road. Too left or Too right is wrong for this country. Congress is spending too much time and money on things they should leave alone and concentrate on Taxes, Social Security and Immigration to get us back on track.

If he really did the things he is accused of then I certainly do not approve...As far as voting for a Dem, I have never done this, but if they presented a candidate that I liked better than the Republican they would be running against, then I would vote for that Democrat.
Will it ever happen?...only time will tell...I put my country before my party so anything is possible.

I didn't even know tapping your foot was grounds losing office.
I would vote for him because I have seen the witch hunt and people in Idaho see it as a witch hunt.
Please explain to me how a Kenndy can be caught driving under the influnce of drugs and it acceptable to liberals.
Or how Jefferson can be caught with money in his freezer and still consider to be OK too.
Until the democrats have a higher moral standing than should not be getting the spec out of someone elses eye while they have a log in their own.
That is Christian too .....ooops that is right all Christian values are evil in your mind.
Like taking care of the poor when Conservative Christians give more to the poor than liberals do funny huh?
So tell me again how liberals care about the poor.

I can't vote for him anyway. He is from Idaho. Most Christians could not vote for him anyway. I live in Cali-friggin'-fornia, where our senators are lesbians and gays (Feinstein was the former mayor of San Francisco, for crying out loud), but do not seem to support Sen. Craig.
Go figure. You would think there would be rejoicing in the streets by the liberals that another gay man has joined their fold.
Impossible it is to comprehend the liberal mind. . .

That's a good, tough, direct question that many would have difficulty providing an unqualified answer for. Unfortunately, many Christians are more political than spiritual and would still vote for him saying that voting for him would allow the Republicans to regain control of Congress and that, overall, would make it the right vote to make.

That's not a valid scenario. There will always be a republican to run for his seat against the democrat.
Still, I understand your question and frankly see very little difference between Craig and your basic, run of the mill, democrat. I find both equally distasteful. So it'd be a tough call.

The people who vote Republican don't care about the moral abyss that is the Republican party. The faux Christians that vote Republican are no more honest than the people they vote for.
They don't care if many of their representatives are gay or solicit underage sex, they just care that these representatives are intolerant of others.

thats a funy question!!! Talk about a rock and a hard spot!!
Us Americans need to lighten up about sex. It has nothing to do with family structure,, I'm sure people willl learn from there own mistakes and figure out how they want to live there lives..

Regardless of sexual orientation, his actions are sick AND he is a liar. I would never vote for him.
As far as the Dem, I'd have to see his/her platform.
Might have to vote third party in that race.
