I am a social liberal and fiscal conservitive, I believe the governement should stay out of my bedroom, out of my wallet and out of my business. I guess that makes me a Libertarian. I strongly believe that people need to be given the right to be held responsible for their actions. They have the right to be happy as long as it doesn't infring on the same right of another. I am pro choice, pro death penalty, pro state run health care (not federal), anti able bodied welfare, pro education, tough on crime. I am pro environment, anti racism, anti hate, pro gay marrige, anti illegal immigration, pro legal immigration, anti man made global warming, pro military, anti Iraq war, pro Afganistan war and anti globalization. I am not a sitting on the fence on these issues and refuse to bend on my ideals to fit into the confinments of the two major parties. I am not a lemming and will not sell out to fit in.

As I've been saying all along, maybe we don't know all the facts.
We all agree global warming is real, it is the cause that is at issue. Can we, from both sides, agree that we do not yet have all the facts?

Their main arguments in the last two elections were that "rules" in Ohio and Florida prevented every voice to be heard and that there should be no rule made that would silence a voter.

When was the last time you volunteered your time for a charity for which you got no benefit.
As for me I volunteer to cook at two shelters, I am the ONLY volunteer who is not a Con from a local church group.

He voted against regulating the Internet.

He has refused his congressional pension

The last atrocities committed in the name of the Christian faith were the witch hunts of the 1600's and the slaughter of Native South Americans through that same time period (though this was by order of the Spanish Monarchy NOT the church)
I have not included the atrosities of the Nazis as Hittler hated Christians too.
By blaming the Crusades for the current violence in Muslim nations and by Muslim extremists is just enabling..not to mention ignorant.
The way I see it Muslims are guilty of more violence and deaths in the name of their God in the last week then Cristians are in the past 200 years in the name of their God.

Day in and day out I hear people here blame everyone else for their own problems. At what point will you stop blaming the governement and the "other party" for everything and take responsibility for your own actions.
