If Dems really feel every vote counts, why won't they allow Florida to partake in their convention?

Let me start by saying that I am from New Hampshire, so I am biased.

The problem is that Florida is violating the policies of the DNC. The DNC and RNC dictate the primary schedule and all changes must go through them. Florida decided to change it's primary without DNC approval. It's not an issue of "silencing the voter". The message is "follow the rules".

I'm still waiting to see what happens here in NH. Our state Constitution states that our primary must be one week before any other state. Iowa's straw poll, according to their Constitution, must be run 8 days before any other state. That, currently, puts them around New Years and us a week later.

"The Democratic National Committee has vowed to strip Florida of its 210 nominating convention delegates if it doesn't hold to the party-set calendar. That calendar forbids all states except Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire and South Carolina from holding primary contests before February 5th.

Michigan has also leapfrogged the national party's order. It has scheduled a January 15th primary."

I wonder if Michigan can expect a similar fate.

Get a clue Florida is trying to change standing party rules on when primaries are held, Both parties have an obligation to NOT let the nominating process become any more of a circus than it already is, They are simple telling Florida they have to play by the rules or be punished, Thought you guys were so big on responsibility, if Florida wants to try and break the rules they'll be sanctioned as they should be so get a clue or mind your own business

Maybe because in Florida every vote DIDN'T count.

And now look at the mess we are in.

The majority of the dems are all "butt hurt" over Florida trying to get a jump on the primaries. As far as I am concerned, the whole process is a real "cluster f@$k".

*LOL* If you were a Democratic candidate would you trust Florida with any kind of vote unless you had to?

It amazes me how they pick and choose and turn down any opportunity that presents a challange to them! Do they not think being a president has any challanges? Kinda scary!

Dems want the votes of criminals and illegal aliens to count, but not our soldiers who are overseas protecting their freedoms.

Every vote counts ONLY if it is cast for the bleeding hearted liberal. Simple as that. If it was cast for a conservative, that vote shouldn't count.
