As I think back, I'm guessing there were 15-20 "loners" in my HS class. How many were in your school?

I went to a high school where everyone was a nerd, graduated with 97 kids, we were the loners, all put in one place ;-)

And we all did just fine, except for the 10% who died in Nam.

I was a loner in HS. Now I am a business owner and involved in many civic organizations. I just did not like to spend my time with the immature people I was stuck with while I was incarcerated in school.

Most went on to be stars in their chosen fields. Remember one who was homosexual, when most didn't know there was such a thing. He was picked on by the jocks, to where you didn't want to go near him fearful that you would get the same treatment.

He had a supporting cast role in the movie "The Big Easy" to which the film was dedicated, for he died of aids before the release.

I'll always remember how much I was a coward next to come to his side.

i agree with meathook, im probably considered a loner. i rarly ever talk to my few friends and like to spend most of my time by my self, because i find everyone including my friends immature and dont like most the jokes they make and how other people try to be cool and not just be them selfs.
