Why are my DVD's not burning clearly?
I have AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 that I am using to burn my DVD's. About half of them burn just fine...but the other ones either get pixilated throughout or they burn fine for a few chapters then "stick" and won't play several. I've tried burning at different speeds but it hasn't entirely alleviayed the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Make sure to disable Anti-Virus, Spyware, Firewalls, Screensavers, and any services that might use resources. Also don't use the computer during this time.

Either your media (the discs themselves) or your computer is at fault. Try to not run any other programs while AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 are burning/transcribing, and use branded media. Also try to use a dvd lens cleaner.

It is possible that the dvd drive is failing. Try reinstalling the drivers, and any other software solutions, but keep in the back of your mind that it may be the burner itself, otherwise you could drive yourself crazy. This happened on my cousin's computer lately. But don't fret, they're cheap.

try burning them at a slower speed. I have trouble if I burn them faster than 8X, so I use 6X consistently and have no problems. Also might need to clean your burner
