Is it just me, or does anyone else seriously want to rip their ears off of their head when Paula talks. It's fine that she's "nicey-nicey" but the way she talks and her "make it your own, you're an inspiration" and her cheesy cliches totally get under my skin.

Now, when she talks, I put my tv on mute and just create a dialogue for what I think she is saying instead...

My DS needs to be charged way more than my GBA. Is this normal? After I charge it, I have two green bars lit up but the first one is a lot less bright than the second. They aren't ever both equally bright. Should they be?

I'm stuck at the tower of Odin. Online walkthroughs have said I need a Nymph's ring which can be converted with a rune bottle from a salamander's ring. Supposedly, I should be able to find these while fighting around the tower. I've been doing this for days and no Salamander or Nymph ring at all. What am I doing wrong?

Anyone have experience with this? No wisecrack answers please.

Did they change the cartridges from 54 to 56? I bought a printer recently that uses #54 cartridges but they don't make those anywhere! I see 56 instead and in combo packs it's the 56 that is paired with the 57...not 54. What gives? Is the 56 the updated one? Can I use it instead of the 54?

I used this monitor with success to conceive my second child. Now that we're trying for the third, I'm feeling like the monitor is off. It told me I ovulated on day 9, when I normally ovulate on day 13.

I would say the machine was right, however, I didn't have the other signs of ovulation...my cervix was closed, no EWCM, and there was only partial ferning on my saliva monitor. So all of the other signs said probably not.

Now today, day 12, I have much more ferning and my cervix is more open.

What do you think?

We've recently discovered a few mice in our house and while the cats are good at cornering them so we can scoop them up, I'd really rather them be out of the house entirely.

We don't keep food out and we're generally clean. Some friends have suggested the boxes of poison that the mice take back to their nests and it kills them off.

My issues with that are:

1. I'd really rather not kill the mice if I don't have to.

2. I have two small children and don't want to leave boxes of poison around my house.

3. I don't want my cats eating the poison either.

Any suggestions?

They make it impossible to find a "contact us" link. I just want to call them or send them an email but they give you nothing to work with.

I found a hundred dollar bill the other day dated in 1966 with red ink. I didn't think it was worth much but in reading on it, it looks like it might have some value. I found this on wikipedia:

1966: The first and only small-sized $100 United States Note was issued with a red seal and serial numbers. It was the first of all United States currency to use the new U.S. treasury seal with wording in English instead of Latin. Like the series 1963 $2 and $5 United States Notes, it lacked WILL PAY TO THE BEARER ON DEMAND on the obverse and featured the motto IN GOD WE TRUST on the reverse. The $100 United States Note was issued due to legislation that specified a certain dollar amount of United States Notes that were to remain in circulation. Because the $2 and $5 United States Notes were soon to be discontinued, the dollar amount of United States Notes would drop, thus warranting the issuing of this note.

I have AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 that I am using to burn my DVD's. About half of them burn just fine...but the other ones either get pixilated throughout or they burn fine for a few chapters then "stick" and won't play several. I've tried burning at different speeds but it hasn't entirely alleviayed the problem. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have AnyDVD as well as DVDclone but I'm not sure how to do this when you only have one drive that plays and burns. My other drive does CD's only.

I don't know the "lingo" and I'm not 100% computer savvy so if anyone can help me in "non computer wizard" language, I'd be most appreciative!

There was a strip with things like the Houdini museum and the Ripley's believe it or not museum...but I can't remember where that was. Does it still exist? How would I find it if I were going for another visit?
