Has the Clear Plan Fertility Monitor ever been wrong for you?

I used this monitor with success to conceive my second child. Now that we're trying for the third, I'm feeling like the monitor is off. It told me I ovulated on day 9, when I normally ovulate on day 13.

I would say the machine was right, however, I didn't have the other signs of ovulation...my cervix was closed, no EWCM, and there was only partial ferning on my saliva monitor. So all of the other signs said probably not.

Now today, day 12, I have much more ferning and my cervix is more open.

What do you think?

Update:

Thanks for the response...but I'd really like to hear from anyone who knows they ovulated a different time from what the monitor said.

I'd say go with your gut and have sex when you think you are ovulating. if you know your body as well as it sounds, then i think you should go by that.. my moitor did work for me though.. first child and i'm 15 weeks.
