do you believe in true love? what is your story?

Yes...I am a firm believer in true love, I've experience it many times, and I know it's real because...

It always ends up biting me on my @$$...(and scratches large chunks out of my heart, too)

We met, found love, drifted apart, lost the love, and then broke up...and then...

Yes I do and No I dont - sounds contradictory. If you leave to human beings to have what you call - true love- the answer I think is "No" because given what you and I know of humans, they are not to be of the kind to give you true love. On the other hand, it is also possible that there are true love but they come from above and beyong the realms of mankind. They are gifts from heaven. I watch a famous film and one phrase keeps coming back to my mind whenever marriages and love come up. The phrase says this - "Good Marriages Are Made In Heaven". And there is every truth in it. Remember that whenever there is a wedding lots of good and best wishes were said and given, blessings all around yet there is a lot of separations, divorces and heartaches. Why ? Because much as humans wish and hope for good marraiges, true love and long term relationships, yet none of us can wish or hope for them. Therefore anything good and stable and truly true, must come from above and beyond the realms of sinful and wicked mankind. Very depressing but it is the truth and you and I cannot run about from this truth. But let me not dicourage you - go and seek for true love for it is the most exciting thing in life and it is a joy too. But if you find what you think it stur love, do not expect too much least you be disappointed - work on it and the love will be at least true to what you expect and nothing more nor less.

i dont belive in true love, because love is'nt just seeing and then you get butterflies and all that junk. That is just want. Love is wehn you care for a person and not just saying words I love you and your my love, thats just corny and fake. Love is action, love is when you'd trade your life so the one you love can live instead. People nowadays mistake love for lust. Love takes time, it doesnt come just like that.

Met my fiancee we have been happy ever since. I prayed for God to send me someone perfect for me. The next day we went on a date. It was awesome. Now we are getting married.

TRUE LOVE is far to long and hard to explain fast and easy on this thing, but it does exsist for me.....

One of us is going to be unhappy. If you believe it exits, I hope you find it. And when you find it, remember that you wanted it and went looking for it.
