I, too, HATE baby shower games. Here are my suggestions for activites that don't make people run around and act foolish: 1) If you want people to laugh... give each person a note card and a pen. Tell them to put the note card on their head and draw a picture of baby (while the card is still on top of their head). Have the mom to be pick the best one and give a small prize. We did this at a bridal shower once and everyone was cracking up, especially when they compared pictures. 2) Have a diaper raffle. Have everyone bring packs of diapers in exchange for a raffle ticket. Have the mom to be draw a ticket and give a prize. 3) If you want an activity that will be special to the mom, do a wishes for baby card. Print forms out that have fill in the blank sentences, like Dear Baby, I hope you always _________________. I hope you laugh at ________________. And so on. Then you can collect these for the mom to keep. 4) Have guests write a "story" about baby. Start with one sentence like, "A special baby boy was due one day in June..." then pass to the first guest. That guest will write one line, then fold the baby over, so only their line is visible. They pass to the next guest and so on. Each guest will only see the one line before it and add one line and fold the paper over. At the end, you should have a silly but cute story to read aloud. The mom to be can also keep this for her scrap book. Hope this helps :)

I wasn't aware a player could create their own words. I always thought the game Scrabble came with words.
