If Sen. Craig is forced to resign (and he should)...?
..., shouldn't equal pressure be brought on Ted Kennedy to resign as well. It's a lot worse to kill a girl and run away from it than to try to attract another perv in a men's room.

Here is a fact of life when it comes to the difference between Liberal Democrats and Republicans:
If a Republican does something wrong, he should be ruined for life and the entire party should be damned.
If a Liberal Democrat does the same thing, it's ok.
Tell me if that isnt true.

Remember Gary Hart -- the Democrat senator from Colorado who was run out of D.C. after a very attractive model, Donna Rice, was observed leaving his townhouse one morning without having been observed going in? He was a hetero with a hottie who violated no law yet his career still bit the dust because of the media.
And, yes'm, he was considered by many as a "liberal" which goes to show the media doesn't care about labels so long as there is a story.

The Republicans are pressuring Craig to resign, not the Democrats. I’m sure the Democrats would be just as happy to see Craig stay in the Senate.

Please. Not only is this argument long past getting old, but let's just leave it at the facts.
Senator Kennedy has never been convicted of a crime related to Chappaquiddick.
Senator Craig has pleaded guilty in the hopes that it would "just go away". It didn't.
End of story. Let it go. Whatever Clinton, Kennedy, or any other Democrat may have done has nothing to do with these charges. Try to look at each incident as an individual case.

If the Senate Ethics Committee makes one in all those suggestion for expulsion. then Senator Craig would be expelled. the regulations of the Senate do not stress any Senator to surrender. the present President professional Tempre of the Senate became into as quickly as a member of the Klu Klux Klan. yet, there have in no way been demands him to surrender.

That won't happen. Ted Kennedy ran for President with Chappequidic on his back. You think 20 something years later, he'll let Mary Jo Kopeckni sink his career? Think again.

Let me guess. The Ted Kennedy angle is what the conservative talking heads are going with in order to deflect attention from Craig.
Republicans have been trying to pin a murder or manslaughter charge on Kennedy for nearly 40 years. You would think that if there was evidence to be found, that they would have found it by now.

Because over the past 3+ decades, the only conduct that I've seen Dems be upset about other Dems engaging in is supporting the war on Terror.

You're gonna have a liberal or two say that you're comparing apples to oranges. It's a common answer when they don't have a good answer.

He was not found guilty by anyone....Craig pleaded guilty...I am not defending either one, just stating the facts.
