What are some good ways of losing weight?

    Try a basic plan...for example:

    1.) Eat less, more times per day.

    Eat 6 SMALL meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism going. Try to eat more lean meats (fish, chicken, etc. unbreaded, of course) and mostly vegetables, and fruits.

    2.) Drink lots and lots of water.

    3.) Exercise in some way for at least one half an hour each day. That is less time than you spend watching a TV show.

    You could start out by walking or jogging. Also, you could try to bike, jump rope, or dance (turn the music on and just go crazy). Any of those things will burn calories, which is the point.

    One pound is 3500 calories. What you have to do is burn off 3500 x (# lbs you want to lose)....

    The best way to lose the weight would be to get the Calorie King diet book, or just go to calorieking.com, which shows you how many calories are in each food. Eat about 1500 calories per day, split up into 6 meals (basically breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack) and make sure that you stay within this calorie limit.
