Survey...What would you do?

My boss conveniently had a "physical" this morning and then called at 1 to say he wasn't coming in. That gives him a 4 day weekend....Should I (A) call in sick on Tues. and have a 4 day weekend or (B) Call in sick next friday and have 2- 3 day weekends back to back? I'm shooting for (B) I think.

Don't call in sick on Friday, tons of people do and it's obvious that they just want an extended weekend. If you want to call in sick it's better to do it in the middle of the week :D

B; most bosses have the attention span of a gnat. If this holds true, he'll forget his own indiscretions and believe that you really are sick.

Get wild and do both, what is the worse thing that could happen? Get fired! you were looking for a job when you found this one.

Neither. Who cares if he couldn't come in- that doesn't have anything to do with you. Plus it's kinda childish. You just make sure you're doing what you're supposed to do & don't worry about what somebody else is doing.

Well, he is the "boss". Nothing is ever fair when under the chain of command.

    I'd do b as well.
