Probably A-Rod....although Magglio has meant more to his team because if you look at A-Rods numbers when he was putting up all his stats this year the Yankees were sucking it up...and then when the Yankees got good A-Rod was horrible and had the lowest average on the team...take Magglio off of the Tigers and they aren't close to where they are in the standings...take A-Rod off of the Yankees and there is a 2 maybe 3 game difference in the standings...so A-Rod will most likely get it because the voters just look at the numbers...in my opinion Magglio is the clear A.L. MVP but if the Tigers don't make the playoffs he doesn't even have a shot at it.

Ordonez deserves to win it as much as A-Rod.

Hitting .360 is amazing especially with his power. A-Rod is 55 points behind in batting average. Who's 55 points behind A-Rod...? Exactly... a lot of average/below average players. A high average and power is not common. Ordonez's strongest argument is his batting average. He needs to win the batting title.

A-Rod might be on pace to hit 55 home runs as suggested by someone earlier, but 55 is commonplace for league leaders in today's day and age. The MVP is not a lifetime achievement award. His strongest argument is the long ball. He needs to hit 60 home runs.

for sure that is between Miguel Cabrera and Josh Hamilton, with Robinson Cano close besides. yet when I had to guess, i will could desire to assert it is going to be Josh Hamilton, with Josh being the canopy mate of MLB The coach 11 :)

    Yankees? They are a team.

Beckett? If Pedro couldn't win it in '99 Beckett doesn't have the slightest chance in hell.

A-Rod is going to win in a landslide.

    He might have 55+ HR, 150 R+RBI and 25SB

    Just sick.

a rod in a landslide easily. other than batting average he is having a pretty good productive offensive season. magglio is gettng a lot of hits and getting on base, but is he driving in a lot of runs when he gets hits?
