How to get the romance back in our marriage?
My husband and I "celebrated" our 1st wedding anniversary yesterday. I am working every day right now, over the weekend, the holiday- everything.
We spent last night at his mother's birthday party instead of home celebrating our own marriage. On saturday night I worked until really late at night and had to be up early sunday. We ate some sushi and had a glass of wine then went to bed.
I am 27 weeks pregnant. I have a 6yr old and a 17mo. I am completely exhausted and burned out on work and on putting effort into the relationship.
I want things to just be easier and I want that "spark" back but I have had NO sex drive during this pregnancy. It's been limited to a handful of times over the last 15 weeks or so.
What can we do?

First of all, do not eat sushi while your pregnant, at least not the raw fish kind, even japanese women don't eat that when they are pregnant. You are a pregnant woman with two little kids, working. The fact that you have sex at all is surprizing. Obviously you can't quit your job, I'm sure you would have if you could. Try asking his mom to watch the kids for a weekend and you two go off some place and relax with eachother.

You both probably need to relax! Don't stress out because you didn't get a big romantic celebration. You have a lot going on and now isn't the easiest time for anyone. I'm 27 weeks pregnant with our second right now and it's HARD to be romantic. You sound twice as busy as I am. My advice is don't worry about it right now. Get through the next few months and after your baby is sleeping through the night you can work on the romance. Asking any more of yourself right now is just asking too much.

First of all, HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! wow, has it really been a year?
You are such an accomplished mother, wife, career woman. I can only imagine how you balance all of these so well.
My suggestion for "romance" would be to make a sexy video of yourself and leave it for him on his pillow. Let him "take care" of himself for once...and the excitement from having a video from your wife to watch would probably spark more romantic actions on his part towards you.
Hang in there sweety! You are a beautiful and strong woman...romance comes and goes in a relationship when things get hectic. Just cherish the moments you do have together for now and hopefully once the baby is born and the nervousness that both of you are experiencing right now goes away, you should have a renewed romantic relationship. Your confidence will boost with the success of the pregnancy and his will boost at seeing how wonderful you handled it all.
Love ya woman and hang in there!

Geez!!! no wonder you are exhausted two children one on the way and working al the hours possible. Does your husband help out at all??? The spark is gone from your marraige because of your circumstances. Try to get someone to take the two children overnight and arrange a nice meal for yuo and your husband, have a chat about your marraige, ask for help with the kids, housework etc.. and try to organise quality time for each other.
