You can google "excel templates" and chose which would work for you, those are always fast and easy and its quicker to adjust a chart then to start from scratch.

Lemme guess, you're in a Computer Literacy class... maybe with the Art Institute??? Because whats funny is that's the EXACT question of this weeks first assignment. weird. "Week 3: Week 3 - W3: Assignment 1 Discussion Discussion Question 3 Compare Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. When should you use each of these applications? When can you use these applications interchangeably? Give examples and reasons to support your answer."

If you want to learn Microsoft Excel, there are several places on the net that offer online courses. The one I personally like is http://www.onlinecourses.trainedge.co.in/course/mi... They have videos and pdf course packs like most online course. But they also have lots of assignments you can use to practice the concepts. There are simulated exercises also which are basically guided practice sessions and very helpful

If you arrange all of the information in table format. then highlight the information and click on the icon which looks like \a little column chart which is on the toolbar below the usual file, help ,edit and etc toolbar. Once you have clicked it a screen should come up showing the different types of charts , select the one you want and follow the on screen instructions .

    Hope this helps

make sure the graph icon is on the toolbar on the top of the spreadsheet. If not go to toolbar, options, add button, chack icon, enter and it will appear.

Highlight data, hit icon, follow step by step instructions. Pie and bar charts are easy. If the graph looks screwy swithc from row to column sort(you check proper box). If the graph still looks screwy play with the range of cells you have highlightd. This is very easy if you limit the choices highlighted. goodluck.

Isn't there an online tutorial? Ask your computer teacher for sites or for sheets with directions.

Click "Insert" on the menu bar at the top and then click "Chart". Follow the instructions on the chart wizard and it'll help make the graph you want.
