the first response is pretty good, the claer blue digital response is also very good. as the others have said your hcg levels may not be high enough so i`d try again in a couple of days. if you need to buy another test then have a look at the test box for the sensitivity
"A test with a sensitivity of 20 IU/L is more sensitive than one with 50 IU/L. You should be able to find this information on any pregnancy test box. "
you may need to buy one thats more sensitive.
fingers crossed you get a positive hun!

Hi i used the Clear Blue digital test which is a little pricey but can detect 5 days before the missed period and i got a positive so i think its pretty accurate! the first response is probaly pretty good too but if u look at the package it shows the precentage of being right grows with each day u wait so untill it says its 99 percent accurate i would test again in a day or two!

To be honest my friend swears by them. Personally I have no idea. The reason I say this is, even though they are a pretty good test as far as sensitivity goes, you still may not have enough hcg in your urine to be able to trigger the test. Your best bet is to wait a week and then take a test if AF still hasn't shown her ugly head. Haha. Sorry a lil humor. Anyway, if the test is still neg. take a trip to the doc. because like I said before you could be one of those girls, like me, that have low hcg levels at first!

I have been told by my hospital that the home pregnancy test are more correct than the hospital test are at the early stages.
But I found that all give about the same response, so my advice would be to get the cheapest! Good Luck.

I was due them 3 days ago but I hope I'm not pregnant, Obviously you are trying for a baby? sometime trying too hard can make your periods irregular because of stress, I am obviously a lot older than you but long time ago when I was trying for a baby it took 3 years of daily trying before i conceived and then you had to be 2 weeks late before taking a test.

I took a Rite Aid test as well as 2 first response tests...the Rite Aid tests showed more defined lines than the first response tests. Just FYI.

Ive had dollar store ones work faster than first response... those never showed positive for me til i was at least almost 2 weeks late, when the dollar store baby test showed up right when i missed my period.

some of them claim to give positive result 4 days before period due. I would buy one of those and use first sample in the mornng as this is the most concentrate. Good luck

I used clear blue the day before my period was due and it said neg. Then the next day I did clear blue again and it said pos. I also tried first response just to back up the pos. and it worked but the first pos. was the day of my missed period. not before.

I used equate, a walmart brand and it was very accurate. I was about 2 weeks pregnant when my tests came up positive. Don't know how long you've waited to do your test.
