my poem , i love your opinions?
I sit cross legged cross eyed staring into space ,
Believing to believe that such a simple act should lead to redemption
Truth is subject to each hour, for with each day a new truth is found
Relevant …. Relevant to me
Peace is a cloud that u can sink into forever
Just keep sinking,
Enveloped by steam, water vapor clinging to my skin,
Warm in the cold sky that surrounds me,
How words and thoughts trickle from a place that cant be seen,
I turn the key on another day
I play this song some other way
I feed my soul a bitter pill
My expectations are eating me up whole
Money is alive my innocence is stole
Never to return I’m amongst the rest ,
Fighting for the scraps like a pack of wolves
We’re lost and found , until we leave it to chance
To drift away in this place we call life

So old I must have now become,
My memory plays a trick.
I thought I answered this cute poem,
My mind I think, is sick.
So once again I'll read this poem,
And once again, I'll write.
And tell you just how good it is,
You'll know then, it's all right.
Please write some more for me to read,
And I will answer twice.
I don't mind the work, you see,
For you write really nice.

My first opinion is that what you have written isn't a poem.
That said, however, I must add that I am no longer certain what it is that makes one piece of literature a poem and another not. Merely breaking up the composition into short
lines with initial capitals does not differentiate it from prose,
though that is the only detectible difference between prose
and what some people call poetry. Meter and rhyme are not
consistently part of a poem, either. Switching to another
language, what about haiku? Try reading E.A. Poe's
discussion of poetry, especially his treatment of Longfellow's
Evangeline.

uuhhhh...
its OK. but...
it sort of sounds wanabee-poetish know what i mean? It needs to be a little more organized and try to keep like on the same topic, to be inspired by something, not 2 write just for the sake of writing. Besides that 2 and a half stars. It has potential but need a little more work...have u ever heard of creative communactions?? Try submitting ur best work there 2 see what happens...good luck!
