Will this be ok to eat 3 1/2 days from now?

I brought a tupperware container with a meal in it for lunch at work today, but now I find out that our bosses are bringing in food to celebrate a birthday, and I'm sure I'd rather eat that.

I HATE wasting food- it bugs me. My question is, if I leave my tupperware in the fridge here and eat it on Monday, meaning it will sit for 3 1/2 days, do you think it will still be fresh?

I can't take it home and eat it tonight because before getting to my house, I have to go somewhere for 4 hours. I can't leave it sitting in my car...

Here is what is in the tupperware: (and please don't laugh if this sounds weird to you- haha)

Cous cous (rice type stuff)

pieces of fried chicken that are already pretty old but have been sitting in the fridge and taste fine

shredded cheddar cheese

basil, salt, pepper

If this sits from Friday morning till Monday afternoon in a fridge, will it still be fresh?

If anyone really takes the time to answer this I will be very excited :-)

I don't think so, couscous should only really be kept for a couple of days but I guess you could risk it

However cooked chicken generally can be kept in a fridge for about 3 to 4 days so it really depends how old it was when you made this lunch.

You could always pick the chicken out I guess although it might be a bit messy!

And no it doesn't sound weird, it actually sounds really yummy and I might try it for my lunch tomorrow!

you may desire to save a healthful weight loss plan. Drink quite some water! Your intake ought to be equivalent in energy for each meal so your unlikely up and down! Watch you energy (consume what you decide on) even with the shown fact that, consume not greater yet as on the brink of a hundred and fifty energy each and every 2 hour with 8 oz.. of water. From the time you upward thrust as much as the time you pass to mattress. This works... and each couple of week have a cheat day! :-) Oh sure, workout is a could desire to!

Honestly, I say go for it unless the chicken is really old. Do you have a freezer in the work fridge? Freeze it and you should be totally safe. It doesn't take much longer to defrost a frozen meal than to microwave a cooled one and you can be confident that it is safe.

No - sorry your chicken is already almost to old and 3 1/2 day more is not safe for you to eat.

Everything else would probably be fine except for the chicken..you said it was already old....and then 31/2 more days...I wouldn't trust chicken sitting that long.....probably better toss it out.....

Normally you could freeze it,but if the chicken is already old,I would just toss it out.

Dump it...the chicken will be beyond "dead" by that time and will have contaminated the rest of the food....

I am a cook--and I would NOT reccomend you eating it...

    toss it.....
