Plumbing Question?
On average how much does it cost to get a natural gas line run in a kitchen for a cook stove? I may be inheriting a gas stove in the near futuresince my sister is remodeling; but my kitchen is not plumbed for gas. I have gas heat and a gas water heater.
I just need a ball park figure. Thanks.

U may have lucked out, if u have water heater and heater and the house is not to old it may be plumbed to the kitchen.
Look behind your excising stove see if u have a gas line. If not shouldn't be to costly to add

There is no way to give an estimate without looking at the job.
First off, no idea of the distance(basement, attic, other end of house), obstacles (walls, studs, floor joists, kitchen cabinets, etc.) or route needed to run gas line. Is the house sized properly to take on another gas fixture. Gas to entire house must be turned off during this time. Permits in many locations are required. The gas company will need to know that the entire house has been tested, and the gas system is up to current code before they will reconnect the gas meter.
The only way to know for sure is to get 3 bids from different plumbers.
I would never bid or price a job like this without looking at it.

it won't cost more than $500...you already have the gas lines in the system...
