If God never sent Jesus, would everyone go to Sheol in the afterlife?

If rejecting Jesus sends you to hell, then it was a bad thing for Jesus to come at all. It's better for everyone to just be dead.

Jesus went to Sheol because Sheol is another word for grave. Hell, Hades, Sheol... all are words used to describe the grave that mankind all goes to. How then, can Hell be a place of torment and everlasting fire if Jesus went there when he died? When you die, you are simply dead.. Ecclesiastes 9:5,6, 10 describe what happens to us when we die.. we are conscious of nothing at all! We remain that way until a resurrection such as the one Jesus was given... only the majority of faithful mankind will again have the chance to live forever on a perfect earth, as Adam and Eve were given and lost. Psalms 37:29 assures us of this! Isaiah 55:11 says that the words that Jehovah puts forth will happen... and He intended for mankind to live here on earth, perfectly. That has not changed! So... I look forward to sleeping in death until a resurrection, and hopefully being part of a new Paradise! If you'd like to know more, you might contact your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Hello, Razz:

According to the Word, this world was completely lost, and God gives us an opportunity to be reincorporated into His kingdom; and as you know, Sheol is the grave--eternal death was our fate.

It is hard to imagine a place where perfect beings have always obeyed their Creator and never sinned, but God's values are different than ours. Remember that Jesus tried to show us that Heaven is serving others--the servant is greatest. And that includes going the second-mile or turning the other cheek.

There is a Bible code, the only verses that the Bible says is "closed until the end of the days." Among other important things, it proves Jesus is the Messiah who would die as the sacrificial lamb for humanity. See: http://abiblecode.tripod.com/

If God never sent Jesus, we would have no ransom sacrifice. If we had no ransom sacrifice, we would die in our sins never to be resurrected. We would not go to Sheol, inasmuch as people can be resurrected from Sheol. The Hebrew Sheol corresponds to the Greek Hades or Hell. That is the abode of the dead. But those who have no hope of resurrection do not go to Sheol/Hades. They experience eternal death. Better that Jesus came. This gives us the opportunity to experience salvation with a view to everlasting life – not everlasting death.

If God never "sent Jesus", in other term "never incarnated", then of course most of us would be victims of Evil & consequently, Evil will be free to control our destiny. Then this would be as you call it >> "Sheol".

Jesus, the incarnated God's Love (Incarnated God), cut the way off Evil and freed us from the Sin, and purchased our souls with his bload on the Cross.

    What is "Sheol"?????

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord and spend eternity with Him in heaven.
