How can we love our enemies?

Is this an impossible ideal - because if everyone did this we'd have world peace.

You've got to start with loving you're enemies then, if everyone does then, yes world peace would be possible. Wouldn't that be great!

It's not impossible, it's just difficult. By 'love' I think it means something closer to understand. If you understand why a person is they way they are, it may make it easier for you to forgive them for their faults.

There are many problems that could be solved if everyone was a willing participant in solving it, but not everyone is willing unfortunately. If everyone learned to love their enemies then there probably would be world peace, but it's getting everyone in on it that is the difficult part.

There is only one way. That is to realize they are not really our enemies. They are just in differant types of bodily idendification or illusion. To know they are only conditioned sous, and in a temporary state of misconceptions. First we must understand that

We are not this material body, IE; Race, color, nationality, Religion, mind, intellect, senses, job, etc. We are all eternal spirit souls, part and parcel of the Supreme Soul, also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Vishnu, etc. One God with many transcendental names. We never die, only this mortal body dies.

This material world is not our real home, it is called Maya (illusion) and is temporary and full of misery, only one fourth of the souls come here, and the rest are enjoying blissful eternal loving relationships with our Maker named above. Those who are intelligent, take up the process of self realization (Bhakti Yoga) A universal Process which gives one real peace, happiness and reality. Then at the end of life they can return to the eternal Kingdom where there is no more birth, death, old age, or disease and be eternally happy. You can do this practice without changin your religion or even if you don't have a religion. It is sanatan dharma (the erenal occupation of the soul. World Peace. Your God is my God. We are all eternal brothers and sisters even if they are being very naughty we may want to avoid their association but we can still love them. God does.

The concept of love thy enemies is very hard to grasp. Granted of we did there world be world peace. It is a perfect example for any saint to follow, but because we are human and emotionally driven it is very hard.

I know it's hard for me to love my enemies.

thats what the bible was aiming for, world peace united under one belief, but everyones idea is a little different and after two thousand years look how far we've gotten from it, for good or for bad. i love my enemies by pitying their hate, you must be a sad person if youre going to go against me

    Uh, how so?

If you believe me to be an enemy, then loving me or hating me changes nothing. The first problem is in the decision that you have made to cast me in role of 'enemy'.

Despite how you might feel, I am not an adversary. You have no reason to fear me or to feel threatened by me, other than what your imagination could provide.

Feeling love/affection for someone who threatens you is problematic and I could write reams here on just that point alone.

Malachi a million:2 I even have enjoyed you, saith the LORD. yet ye say, wherein hast thou enjoyed us? [improve into] no longer Esau Jacob's brother? saith the LORD: yet I enjoyed Jacob, Romans 9:13 because it extremely is written, Jacob have I enjoyed, yet Esau have I hated. devil isn't blanketed in a christians love of somebody. Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them improve into forged into the lake of hearth and brimstone, the place the beast and the fake prophet [are], and could be tormented day and night without end. God sends the devil into the lake of hearth interior the tip. i do no longer think there is any lost love there.

The first step is understanding. Try to look through your enemies eyes, see his point of view.

Truly fearless people consider their enemy as a challenge.... they do no harm to enemy, just take up the challenge to tackle any ill moves by the enemy...... this is the most friendly one can ever get to an enemy and any ideas beyond that is simply fruitless imagination.

If I'm determined to be an enemy then I just need to not be an enemy anymore. If the other person is determined to be my enemy then I just need to see the 'lost one' behind the delusion that he is involved in and love him.
