Prazole: what does that suffix mean? Prazolam?
I've seen 'prazole' used as part of the name of several proton pump inhibitors. What does it stand for? Also is it related to
'prazolam' which is part of the name of the anti-anxiety medicine alprazolam?

They don't "mean" anything. Drugs in a particular class of action are often named similar to the first drug in the class.

prazole - for example omeprazole are used for stomach acid and ulcers, and also for fungal infections of the gullet
