Xbox live and Xbox 360 live question?

yes....u have to be in the same game tho...like halo2...i wud advised u to get a 360...much cheaper now and if u have xbox live...u dont have to pay more...juss recover it

Yes they are the same thing. Xbox Live is on the Xbox 360. Xbox live is online. You can basically play with friends and other people. He probably meant xbox live as in getting the membership. It doesnt cost much for the 1 month gold membership, its about $7.00, goes up to the highest $49.00 for a 12 month. That guy said you pay per year. No you dont. you can get the membership whenever you want, and cancel it whenever you want. You can either buy the memberships from a game store, or on the xbox 360 when he has an online account.
