Why the insults?

no it doesn't. alot of the times it shows our lack of knowledge in a certain area. It is easier sometimes to fire an insult at something that makes us uncomfortable, in hopes that it will either

a) make the other go away, or

b) is only way that we can feel good about ourselves.

example--- school yard bully... knows he has issues with himself, so in order to camouflauge them so others won't see them he results to putting others down to take focus off of him

Insults don't help people do anything but keep the divides in place. Some times people do insult because they are frustrated and others is because they can't see that people are different than them.

My real peeve is questions that start out as insults: blah blah blah: Isn't that moronic. How stupid are you people to believe that blah blah blah. Debate a belief.. don't insult the believer. And I mean that for both sides of the aisle.

If someone insults me, I usually take it with a grain of salt.

I get that to. My questions usually gets insults and sarcasm. Shows their level of maturity. even when they claim to be so wise. Maybe your question was to close.

Something us peace minded folk think everyday. I think some people get frustrated because we wont come around to their way of thinking?

Mine are usually reaction. People tend to misunderstand my faith and insult it or me. My knee jerk reaction is to be ugly back.
