How can you Christians be so arrogant as to say all other religions are wrong but yours?
The idea that a Jewish zombie, who is his own father, and was "magically" born to a virgin woman, can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and drink his blood by telepathically telling him that you accept him as your personal savior and master, so that he can remove an evil force within your soul because a rib-woman ate from a magical tree and caused humanity to become embedded with this evil force from birth.
Why would you even say that this is a good reason to even believe in Christianity, and that it's better than ever other religion because its right? Does this sound realistic to you?
I don't mean to single out only Christians, I just wanted to make my point to the majority of users on here.

Jesus said of Himself that He was the only way to Heaven. Is it because salvation is a gift and does not have to be earned that you doubt? Or would you prefer to "earn" a ticket? Or, do not not believe in anything at all?

Source(s): Bill Weise has written a book, "23 Minutes in Hell" where he describes what he saw and felt when he went to Hell. You can see his testimony on http://www.spiritlessons.com/ That zombie died so that you would not have to spend one second in Hell. Read the above scriptures and consider the evidence. - ?Lv 71 decade ago
Dude, you have a great imagination to come up with your statement.
If, as a Christian, I have come across as being arrogant, I apologize to anybody that I have offended. The last thing a Christian should do is push people away from God and Jesus Christ. I can't speak for all Christians, but my belief is so strong, I cannot accept any other type of God or explanation to how man and the Universe were created.
If I indeed said I believed in your statements, I'd be a little off my rocker. You have a remarkable way with words, and I seriously think you should become a writer, you are outstanding. However, Jesus was not a zombie, and was not born "magically." You cannot live forever by eating his flesh, and telepathy? You're good! The tree was not a magical tree, but everybody has an imagination, don't they? Imagination, by the way, is a gift. Guess who gave you that gift (just try not to abuse the gift, please)?
God bless you!

Very interesting thoughts indeed! I agree with you in that certain statements come off as arrogant and rude; Assuming everyone had the same upbringing as you did, or the same background information that you do is more than slightly pushing it. To further it, there is a tendency towards intolerance of others beliefs and systems. It all goes back to thinking outside your own world and sphere and whether or not you have the ability to do that - your situation and theirs could have easily been the opposite! Yet you expect them to have the same belief systems as you do. However, I think that having an "arrogance" if you will towards what you believe is necessary to some degree. Arrogance might not be the proper word to use but if you believe in something, you darn well should think that its the most perfect infallible religion/thought that ever exists ... otherwise... why would you be believing in it?? The problem comes when people try to push that pride onto others, and what you have is a large misunderstanding, and some fuming minds. I pray that we can all become tolerant towards one another, respect each other as human beings, and realize that not *everyone* thinks alike.

Okay... so, my dad is a very devout Christian- and I'm not yet 18 so he thinks that he can make me go to church and believe what they preach. Personally, I'm agnostic. No religion is "better" than another. My best friend is Jewish, my sister spent her summer in Jordan, we've hosted a Sunni Muslim exchange student, and a Catholic German exchange student. And I know I shouldn't be saying this, but don't you think that you're generalizing a bit by making it sound like all Christians are this way? Just a little food for thought. But I do agree, fundamentalist, "born-again" Christians are totally over the top. It gives all Christians an unfair name. I mean you probably were thinking this because of those Christians. Really, I don't know what to make of it anymore than you do, so I guess I just try to accept them all. Of course, all religions have fundamentalists, so I also try not to generalize, or stereotype. I hope I was of some help....

First off, if you really believe the stuff you wrote, don't try to back pedal and say, "I didn't mean to single out Christians." Of course you did. Man up and admit it.
Second, presented the highly slanted way you present it would, indeed make Christianity seem foolish. However, when you experience Christianity, a true relationship with Jesus Christ, you'll understand.
In the meantime, you feel that you have to justify your existence by attacking someone you don't agree with. That's OK. When one has no true rebuttal, they attack. It's not the first time I've seen it, and it won't be the last.

I don't know what you are on, but you have rambling sentences that make no sense. Telepathically telling him. and rib woman ate from a magical tree. From what book have you been reading. Not the Bible for there are no such lines in The Book.
If you haven't figured out by now after 9/11 that the Islamic terrorist want us dead, dead, dead unless we convert to Islam for they are so arrogant as to say all other religions are wrong but theirs then you have been keeping your head buried in the sand or drowning yourself in drugs or booze.
You talk of arrogance when we tell people the way to salvation but we care about your eternal soul and tell you the way, the only way to salvation. If the bridge is out and people tell you that all other ways to the other side are crumbling and there is but ONE SURE way I would think you would be thankful and not arrogant enough to ignore the best advise that people gave you. The bridge to you and God is JESUS. If you wish to ignore this bridge and end up in the lake of fire well, I don't think you can swim in it.

I'm not a Christian but I have known many Christians who actually practised what they preached and were very tolerant of people who weren't Christian. There are alot of Christian extremist who are condemning and intolerant of all people who don't believe what they do. Unfortunately they're the ones who capture media attention etc.. and they give Christians a bad name. All religions are a tad absurd when you get right down to the meat and bones. I'm a spiritual seeker, I find my greatest solace in nature. I believe a little bit of many different religions but organised religion, on a whole, is a big turn off to me. Too much suffering has gone on because of religious zealots. The Christians, though an easy target, aren't the only ones to blame by far!!!!!!

I think it is more arrogant to say that all religions are true, even when they contradict each other, execpt any religions who realize that truth can't contradict, those religions are wrong. And atheists, if you are one, would also be arrogant if saying everything else is wrong makes one arrogant.
Zombie? Magic? Telepathically? Hahaha! Of course it does not sound realistic! It is because you are mangling it! You are displaying your vast range of ignorance with this dumb question! You either grasp no theology at all, or you're so angry and bitter that you just love to mangle Christianity just to get your cheap shot at it!
I now label this question - arrogant, stupid, ignorant, dumb, misguided, and really, honestly, sad. Not sad as in pathetic, although you could easily say it is, but just... sad. As in how could someone be so angry to put up something like this?

Because the bible is true and says there is no other way to the father but through the son. We follow the bible which has been proven true-just look at history. As long as a person worships the Lord and no other-they can call themselves whatever religion they want. We will be very surprised to see people from every religion in heaven. It doesn't matter how we walk the path as long as it ends at the Father's feet.

From a practical, scientific standpoint, (excluding sociology, etc.), few religions sound realistic. However, most that I know of each maintain that they are the correct faith.
Buddhism, for instance, teaches that desire of any sort causes/increases the amount of pain and suffering in the world. From that point of view, all other religions are equally incorrect in the end.
Those that have more structure are less accepting of alternate versions of creation, morality, the afterlife, and that sort of thing, but those with less structure have less organization and substance, to the point that the religion risks dissolving into argumentative philosophies held by individuals.
As an afterthought, putting this much acid into the question to begin with seems to indicate that you're not really interested in an answer.
