Is there any way to fix a microwave that doesn't heat anymore?

I don't want to buy a new one. I love my microwave. It's really not that old and I can't understand why it stopped working. And no it's not under waranty. If you have any good ideas other than buying a new one please let me know.

if it don't come on at all try changing a fuse. if it runs and don't heat, buy a new one.it will cost more to fix it than to replace it. when you get the new one get a surge protecter as well.

    Can it be fixed? Probably.

Is it a do-it-yourself job? Probably not.

Will it be worth the cost to fix instead of replace it? Beats me.

Why am I talking like Donald Rumsfeld? I don't know.

Seriously, there's probably a burned out part in the innards of your oven. Take it to an electronics or appliance repair place and maybe they can fix it for you.

I wouldn't try it yourself, microwaves have radioactive material in them that they use to generate heat. You can buy new ones at Walmart for as cheap as $10

you can find a friend to fix it or you find an expert which might cost even more than buying a new one
