there is no comparison between a 3-series and an altima. The Beemer is the way to go. But only if you can afford to repair it when it breaks. If not, then choose the Nissan

I guess most of the people here don't remember how bad a 2001 Altima looks. That series was the worst looking of the three serires of Altimas . 2001 Corollas aren't that attractive either but they are cheaper to repair and operate. In it's defense, the Altima does have a 20 more hosepower but the engine is a lot bigger and the car weighs quite a bit more. Stick with the Corolla. It'll even be worth more in the long run.

WOW that’s like comparing an apple to a stake. not that I would be caught dead with either of them but I would personally take the BMW. It's going to have more taste then a Nissan altima, and it looks better then the altima to. lets face it. the Nissan altima is just a plain ugly car.
Source(s): Sorry Nissan lovers, It's my personal tast. I think they are ugly cars.. - 1 decade ago
dude im telling you. i used to own a 04 BMW 325i. i love the car despite on its looks and its luxurious, but im telling you, once you get the bimmer, half of the time the car goes to the shop due to some mechanical problem. that's why they have that warranty in commercial. but if money don't care then go for the bimmer. i suggest getting a toyota camry. you gotta love it. nissan by the way is okay, it's just that, there are too many altimas running around. too common.
