How would you go about asking someone to the Sadie Hawkins dance?

My daughter was curious if anyone had any ideas, [fun, special, unique] ideas in asking her guy friend to Sadies. Keep in mind their sadies is at a barn in October, if that helps!

I would get a fish bowl and fill it with gummy fish and then put a note on top and have it say "of all the fishies in the sea, would you go to sadie hawkins with me"

sorry I am cheesy but I did that for my ex and he absolutely loved it.

Just make sure you make it look all pretty and what not but it's a fun idea.

She could hint to her friend = " You better learn to dance, because your taking me to the Sadie Hawkins dance in October. P.S. the fishbowl thing is cool, but I would also include a video game that you know he would like. That way he will be forced to think of her every time he plays that video game.

Why is it so difficult? Go up to him and say They are having a Sadie Hawkins dance where girls ask boys, would you like to come?

The easiest way to get him to say yes would be just to ask him, straight forward is the best way. Guys are just as nervous asking girls to the other dances it's fun to have the reversal. If she is the captain of the chess team and he is the star quarterback, be sure he gets a long with you (via conversation) before asking, nobody wants to get shut down. Otherwise honesty and no BS is the best and easiest way to go.

Guys don't care about how they are asked as long as they ARE asked to be honest. It's always the guys that do it up for the girls, because that stuff means alot to them. Anyways, just tell her the next time she gets a chance, ask him if he's going...and he'll say "Well I don't have a date..." then she can say, "Well why don't we go together, it would be fun!"

It's too nerve-racking at that age to ask in person. Give him a box of chocolate with a card that asks the question, or even a flower. Cheers

Get a lariat, and put it around the boy - its barn-related, get it? Or an invitation rolled up in hay maybe.

Really, the best way is to just ask them and tell them why. i.e. "Will you go to the dance with me? I think you are really fun (cute, nice, smart, etc)."

She could write on his driveway in chalk. That is what my gf in highschool did. It was kind of cool. Or decorate his car.
