Strange pain beneath belly button. Best answer gets rewared 10 points.?
I have a strange pain right under the right side of my belly button - roughly a inch and a half in length, give or take. The pain is in a very thin area straight up and down, like a very thin rip or a crack the width and length of a needle inside my stomache lining. (best way I know how to describe it) It doesn't usaully hurt until I get up from sitting in a upright position or go to lay down or sit down upright. I have had this same pain before in the same exact spot - once about six months ago, once when I was 13. I'm 26 now. Each time it has went away after 2 days of taking it easy - one day of laying down flat. Both times before it would hurt when I walked for the first half of the day. I'm worried as this pain has happened before. I hate going to the doctor - and would rather not unless I absolutely have to. Hernia, Stomache muscle rip, pulled growing??? Which one is it?

I get the same pain if I poke my belly button with my finger. I think it is a nerve that got twisted when they tied my umbilical cord. Mine pain is real short though, not 2 days long.

Sorry but no one here on this site can tell you accurately what it is. It could be any of the conditions you mentioned including just a strained muscle.
Go see the DR (preferably an internist) and get it checked out.. could be something that is congenital (something inherited at birth) which may/may not need attention.
Whatever it is .. it does not sound life threatening.. so you will be back at Y Answers for a long time.

It does harm, yet purely somewhat. this is purely a tiny pinch, and this is over in like 3 seconds. It does hutr worse then ears, yet no longer by plenty. i've got had the two considered one of my ears pierced each and each of how up interior the previous, and it harm with reference to comparable to a cartlidge piercing. It sounds like somewhat bee sting. yet, all and sundry's distinctive. some human beings say it harm fairly undesirable, others say it fairly did. i've got had my nostril and lip besides and bellybutton advance into the least painful out of all those.
