When was the last time that you were verbally or physically threaten? Was it by a Muslim or a Christian ?

Christian, but that doesn't mean squat. all right-wing fanatics have a habit of shooting off their mouths, whether they are Muslim or Christian.

Are all Christians in ghettos? Wow - I had absolutely no idea. Were they rounded up and put there, like the Nazi's did to the Jews?

My Iranian buddy is an absolutely delightful man. He's *very* proud of the fact that he's a LEGAL American immigrant. I asked him this summer what he thinks about the Iran situation, and he said that, as far as he's concerned, he's an American now. Too bad you don't seem nearly as appreciative of your country.

The last time I was verbally and physically threatened was when I scolded some idiot animal rights activists over their treatment of a law-abiding trapper. You can't kill a wolf, but it's okay to threaten your fellow Americans. F*ing idiots. Guess which side of the spectrum such idiots fall on, Skippy? Hint - they sure as hell aren't conservatives.

You're making a rash generalization.

I don't find that threatening. They're not physically in my face, with a gun. Nor are they down the street, dead drunk, shooting their shot gun off into the middle of the neighborhood.

Burning a flag is symbolic. I don't see it as physically or mentally threatening in any regard. :|

Edit: To the person below me- I believe what I said was opinion. Maybe /you/ feel threatened in the same way if you see something through the TV or wherever, but I look at the source and judge from there. I feel more threatened by what our government is doing to cause more hate than I do about someone burning a flag.

Actually, there have been people in the US who burned the flag. It's a statement.

What an amazingly uninformed comparison. Just becase someone does not live next door doesn't mean they are less of a threat.

No not all Muslims are violent, nor is everyone living in the ghetto.

But the Muslims we are engaged in a war with, and make no mistake we are engaged in a war. Even if we left Iraq tommorow, they would still be at war with us. These Muslims will not rest until the world is Muslim. Their holy writing demand it.

So yes the Muslim burning the flag in Iraq may not be the problem, now. But give him time and he will get some friends and maybe some sponsors and he will be a danger tomorrow.

And if we allow it they will take over, then lets see how you like them. I doubt you will be able to make disparaging comments obout them on Answers then.

I may not agree with the way the war has been handled, but I believe we must do something. And sitting back and doing nothing will not make them go away, it will only embolden them to do more.

A member of Al Qaeda once said Americans have watches but we have time. Let us not forget before we ever went to Iraq they attacked the World trade center. they weren't as successful as they hoped but they bided their time and 7 years latter we had 9/11.

Yes, I have friends that were raised in the "ghetto"... hood as we call it where we came from.

I have been threatened with beheading by so many muslims that I don't count them. I have read the koran and saw all the evil it teaches muslims to do, and because I quote the koran muslims routinely threaten to behead me. Because of this, I carry a 10mm Glock. If they attack me the odds are they will meet Jesus and He will tell them allah is not really God and muhammad was not a prophet.

Six weeks ago! A right-winger Bush lover heard me say "I support our troops, but Bush is bad news". He pushed the hassle and said I was a mamby-pamby liberal. I go to court in three weeks. He got a free ride to the doc!
