Being fingerprinted when travelling - yes or no?

Do you (as I do) believe that having to be fingerprinted to enter America is an assault on our civil liberties? Or do you think it's a good thing?

I had been saving to travel to America to explore that beautiful country, but when the Republican administration brought in fingerprinting tourists, I changed destinations.

Also, any other countries you know of that share this practice?

Given the weirdo types that enter that country i'd say it's absolutely neccessary and anyway if you've nothing to hide what's the problem other than a little indignity?hardly a reason not to visit ANY country.I would sort my "issue" thus freeing me up to visit anywhere I wanted, good luck.
