my kid has ask me some math problem: knew the ans. but want to let the community share their answers. okay?

prob is: if 1=2, 2 = 4, 3 = 6, 4 = 8. 5= 10 , then 6 is = ?

    1 = 2,

    2 = 3,

    3 = 6,

    4 = 8,

    5 = 10,

    6 = ?

    By observing the pattern, the answer is 12.

    However, if this is meant to be a trick question,

    then 6 can also be 3 because 3 = 6.

    That is a terrible math question !

    Kids could get so easily confused.

    USE ALGEBRA to say -

    If a = 2, 2a = 4, 3a = 6, 4a = 8, 5a = 10, then what is 6a ?

    ANSWER 12.

    no answer :consider a= ( n-1)(n-2)(n-3)(n-4)(n-5) + 2n.....

    then if n=6 the answer is 130
