I have to say that I do not recommend any cocktails that contain a large amount of alcohol. I say this for a couple of reasons. My first thought is that unless I am mistaken, your friends are all also close to 18, this lends me to believe that none of you have much experience with alcohol. The tolerance levels for all of you will be low. If you serve Long Island Iced Teas or any other drinks that are made primarily of alcohol you will end up with many of your friends and possibly yourself spending the latter part of the evening in the bathroom vomiting. I would recommend something that contains a small quantity of alcohol which will enable you and your guests to gage your intake according to how you are handling the effects of the alcohol. There are many drinks that contain reasonable amounts of alcohol and are very pleasant in taste. I recommend perhaps making pitchers of daiquiri, pina colada or something similar to that. A frozen drink takes longer to consume and rarely has a strong alcohol taste. I hope that you have a great time celebrating your birthday.

A daiquiri is made with light rum (clear rum), lime juice (you can purchase liquid lime juice at the grocery), sugar and ice. Blend all together for a few seconds until the chunks of ice are broken up and then blend on high until smooth.

Pina colada mix is found in most groceries and is also made with rum in a blender.

    I hope this was helpful.

This is a quick and incredibly easy appetizer! We make these for family get together and pot lucks. Nobody ever guesses the ingredients! Note - cooking time is crock pot time.

    Ingredients:

2 (1 lb) packages cocktail franks or Little Smokies sausage

    1 cup prepared yellow mustard

    3 cups grape jelly

    How to prepare:

Place all ingredients in crock pot.

Heat on low 3-4 hours stirring occasionally.

    Serve warm.

Bushmills Irish Whiskey and water. No headache. Maximum of three cubes of ice if you like ice.

Is a Black n' Tan a cocktail? I like Bass and Guinness.

Couldn't tell you. It might be legal for you to drink in Ireland. But I'm in the US and won't even give advice on drinks to an underage person.
