follow up question--87 Merkur?

Well I've never heard of a termination switch so I looked at autozone.com and advanceautoparts.com and neither one had a listing. I looked through the electrical parts lists on both websites and I didn't see anything that looked like it could be called by a different name but be the same thing. If you are talking to a mechanic at a dealership I would call a different dealership and ask for the parts department and see what they can tell you. Was the Merkur a Ford or Mercury car? If so that's the dealership you want to call. They may act like you're stupid but tell them this is the part your mechanic told you to get. If they have no idea then I would be questioning the mechanic.
