I would take a look at the entire catalogs of the following bands. These acts wrote the book on that sort of thing and have far too many songs to choose from.

unhappy or ROCK? ok.. i'm now no longer particular on that. If by unhappy you mean.... sluggish and variety of emo... Evanescence has various those, as good as rock, resembling: hi such as you My Immortal Your action picture star lacking All that i'm residing For candy Sacrifice Weight of the international Going under The Veronicas: All I even have heavily broken In yet another existence somebody Wake Me Up My Chemical Romance has various nicely rock songs, and so does Switchfoot.

uh i recommend my chemical romance. like:

"i never told you what i did for a living" about a murderer who pretends to be his victims or at least thats how it sounds..

"to the end" based on the book "A Rose For Emily" emily ends up killing some guy (he won't marry her when she proposes) with cyanide, and keeps his dead body in her room, where she sleeps with it.

um....

"vampires will never hurt you" about vampires or society

"helena" (maybe..) death of a loved one

"the jetset life is gonna kill you" um not sure, but its creepy.

"its not a fashion statement, its a f*cking deathwish" um. well i think this line kind of explains it: "this hole you put me in wansn't deep enough and im coming out right now.." or "im coming back from the dead.."

"jack the ripper" um about jack the ripper..
