What GPS would be good for a cable guy??

I'm looking to buy a gps for my boyfriend's christmas present but i have no idea what i'm doing. I want something that has the already built in roads (not ongoing support) so we don't incurr monthly charges. any suggestions would be helpful. thanks

Update:

oh yeah i was curious if they had a system he could enter all addresses and it would map it out for him with the best route? is that something that's available?

    Hi <liketoplay420>,

Garmin makes the best. Most come preloaded with all USA maps. You can enter an address & it will find the fastest or shortest route. They are absolutely wonderful for someone who has to find a lot of addresses. You can spend a lot more but I think the Nuvi 350 gives you everything you could want in a GPS. It has a nice size screen and all the features you could ever want. There are no fees. It is free to use forever. Right now they are running between $350 and $400.

Go here to check one out - http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Pocket-Vehicle-Naviga...

It will be a gift he will never forget.
