natural gas stove?

when a person uses a natural gas stove, and/or oven are the fumes dangerous? or do u have to vent it?

Update:

ok,its a new stove with electric start works great, but just wondering,...ther is a window two feet away for ventilation, so,,,,,

    I've had a gas stove for years without a problem. Keep a carbon monoxide detector in the kitchen, close to the stove but away from a window.

    Unless the gas is on, but the burner isnt, its usually fine. But its also important to have your stove serviced every year or two to make sure that it is safe.
