There isn't anything you can do to increase your chances of having either a girl or a boy, despite all of the old-wives' tales. It comes down to two things: fate, and whether or not the sperm that fertilizes your egg is carrying an X or a Y chromosome (therefore, blame your partner if you end up with a boy).

I have been doing a lot of research on this as I have 5 boys and just want one girl so bad.
There is nothing wrong with wanting a child of one sex. Anyone who has all of one would understand that.
I have read that eating foods high in calcium and magnesium has helped.Keep away from salt and red meat. A diet rich in dairy products makes your ph more acidic giving the girls a better chance.
I am trying this along with clomid and the Erricson method. Being that I have boys last ones being twins I won't be trying again so I hope it works.

If you're not hoping to have a healthy child, then you really don't want a child. You have to examine WHY you want a particular gender before conception or you could grow to resent that child, and children who are resented- wind up resenting the world and displaying that as rapists, murders, and other such violent offenders.
