They do have way to much influence, but not absolute influence. Also, they don't control the Judicial System, at least, not directly.

True to a large extent, but not 100%. Citizens vote, both rich and poor, not corporations. If the communist system is an alternative, then no one votes -- the ruling class controls everything from top to bottom. I've tried to imagine a purly participitory type of government, but it would require something like the internet to achieve. That would provoke all kinds of conspiracy theories about how the government rigs the internet, ect (like the voting machine conspiracies mutiplied 100-fold). It would also include the argument that democracy is wrong because the mob rules. In short, there is no perfect system of government, and it would be foolish to trade this one for a less perfect one just because capitalism isn't perfect.

True. Corporations make the rich richer by exploiting your labor to increase shareholder value (aka deepen rich pockets). The rich want their pet money making projects (corporations) to do well, so they hire lobbyists to influence politics in Washington so that they maximize their return on investment.

Meanwhile the issues that effect the general population are ignored because we cannot afford to hire lobbyists, and politicians would rather trick you into voting for them rather than actually represent you (which is their job).

great question almost 100% of us say it is true . we all know it but don't want to take back our country from them? how weird? why do we let them control us and the world? they are the ones who exploit the world and make us look bad and make enemies for us. guess who has to fight their wars? the poor and some middle class families sons and daughters! peace
