It's an estimate to give you an idea of capacitiy. When estimating songs, they're usually 4 minutes each. Sometimes people use higher quality files for their songs which uses more space, and reduces the number of songs.

Pictures typically are smaller than songs, but like songs, can be very large for high quality. A single picture can be as large as an entire song.

Video are much, MUCH larger files than songs. A single video file can easily be as much as 25 songs or more.

It depends on what format the songs are in. 200 sounds about right if they are in MP3 format, as opposed to wma, which is a smaller file size.

If you have it filled with songs already, you can't put videos on, too. When it says "file format not accepted", it means you need to convert the video to a file type that will play on your card or phone. There are many different formats for videos, so find what kind you need for your specific device.

If you format your memory card, be prepared to lose everything on it! Formatting means erasing everything and starting like it's brand new.

Also check to see what bit rate the files were recorded at. If they are mp3's they need to be 128kbps or less to fit the number of songs you want to store. Also the file size depends on the length of the song. If you have several marathon songs (10 minutes or more) they will use up a lot of space. 200 is just an average assuming 128kbps and 3-5 minute songs.

You need to have software on your phone tat can play video clips. Go to Nokia's site andsearch for software that can run on you phone. Also SD cards are very heap now. I just bought a 4gb for $40. Video's take upa to of room. You need a bigger SD card
